Skim AI — Privacy Policy
1) Who we are and scope
Skim AI (“Skim”, “we”, “us”) provides software that helps procurement teams find and manage government tenders. This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data when you visit our website or use our web app and related services (“Services”).

2) How we use AI (EU AI Act – deployer transparency)
- We use AI tools to: (a) summarise public tender information, (b) suggest relevant tenders, and (c) power chat-based help.
- We do not use AI for biometric, employment, credit, or other high-risk decisions.
- We keep an internal register of our AI features and review new features before launch.
AI transparency
- We tell you when you interact with an AI feature (e.g., a help chatbot).
- We label AI-generated content as “AI-generated.”
- You can reach a human at any time via support.
Our role under the EU AI Act (2025)
- Skim acts as a deployer of AI systems (we use third-party models; we don’t provide general-purpose AI models).
- We follow provider instructions, apply human oversight, and monitor for misuse.
- If any future feature meets high-risk criteria, we will add all required controls before launch (e.g., oversight, logging, user notices, and—if required—fundamental rights impact assessments).
Use of data with AI vendors (no model training)
- We confirm that data we send to model/API vendors is limited to what’s needed to deliver the feature.
